Good Boy is a thriller by director/producer Patrick Roddy (Red 71Mercy).  The film, written by Nicholl Fellowship semifinalist Ken Henderson, was shot in Louisiana, but used Tucson talent including actress Tiffany Shepis (Dark Reel), production advisor Craig Huston (First BloodHeaven Can Wait), cinematographer Jorge Urbina (Caramelo), production managers Max Johns (Trade In) and Chelsea Benson (Trouble At Hand), editor Sara Sher (Lightbulb), and sound designer Jason Canfield (The Last Man).  The original score is by local musician Tom Walbank, and Tucson's Amy Rude contributed songs from her Heartbeast album.

The plot of Good Boy follows a young man who attempts to escape his trapped existence by stealing money from his work and heading to California, hopefully to find a better life.  But, he stumbles into an unimaginable world along the way, ruled by a depraved man who controls everything and everyone around him.

This film is for mature audiences only and contains violence, nudity, and profanity.

"Good Boy is a stunning film and reinforces my belief that director Patrick Roddy is destined for great things! ... This film has such a polished, professional looking sheen that it looks like it was made for millions of dollars instead of its low budget! ... The actors all did a fine job and should be proud to be part of such a fantastic film. ... Good Boy is an amazing effort by all involved ... This psychological thriller plays out very nicely and I, for one, couldn't take my eyes off the screen!" - FatallyYours.com

"Good Boy is a riveting thriller that quickly draws you into its bizarre world of unusual characters." - 10kBullets.com
